Background

Gyroloop is the head of employee resources at the Maroon corporation's headquarters in the city of Era. He works under Soma Jagson, who gives Gyro directions and reports relevant to his field. Most of his time is spent in Era, but he occasionally travels to other Maroon branches to assist with cases that require investigation or extra attention.

In his free time, Gyro is an avid fan of gaming, especially of the online multiplayer variety. Most notably, he won a local award in August 2336 for the best performance in a game's beta, which was exclusively previewed at a convention in Era. The victory gave him a small online following, and a small portion of people who attend or tune into the convention are aware of his prowess.

Appearance & traits

Gyro has the ordinary body of a caucasian male, but in place of his head is a security camera that can freely look around and even record footage; the red light beside his eye denotes that he is currently filming. He wears plain clothes at work, usually consisting of jeans and a white polo shirt with suspenders, but wears casual clothes in his free time, most of which have designs or logos from his favourite video games.

The back of his head has a small data chip and two wires connecting to his back; if the wires are disturbed or damaged, Gyro may become blind until they are fixed, and if the data chip is removed from the back of his head, he will drop unconscious until the chip is returned.

Gyro also has a hard time maintaining a proper sleep schedule on his days off. On work nights, he sleeps at a suitable time, but he has a habit of staying up far too late on days off.

Personality

Gyroloop is playful, kind, extroverted, and he exudes a professional demeanor in the workplace. However, he can also be very timid and shy, since he is easily flustered, especially when around potential love interests. He enjoys giving a helping hand to people in need, and takes pride in his assistive position at Maroon. He also becomes very exciteable when playing video games, and has difficulty containing his energy while playing.

He usually doesn't record people without their permission, but if he witnesses any suspicious activity, he'll become as sneaky as possible in order to film the activity without being noticed. He often tries to cover the red light on his face in such situations, either with his hand or his coat, if he's wearing one.
