Background

Aural Automaton is a machine built primarily for playing music. Originally performing on the streets a year after Zynima became a functional city, she began earning recognition as a musician, and about one year later, she began releasing her own songs and albums to the public. This eventually led up to Aural gaining enough popularity to run her own dance club, Assault, and her own small radio station, "Auralmaton Radio." She's also performed in two of her own concerts as well.

She spends a fair amount of her spare time working on musical projects and managing her radio when she's not performing in Assault. Through a combination of her networking and dedication to her audio affinity, she's reached and maintained a rank of around 400 to 450 on Zynima's sound chart.

Appearance & traits

Aural has a somewhat bulky black figure outlined by red lights aligned around some of her joints. Her head has a reflective visor that curves up and around her head and ends in two sharp points, covering a set of three large spikes that protrude out of the back of her head. She can display any image she wants on her face, but only in red. Her torso has a somewhat protruding concave shape: the front curves outwards somewhat until it reaches the middle of her chest, where it's lined with a deck of 6 small speakers; additionally, she has two speakers on top of her shoulders, all of which are outlined with a red glow. While her body is generally quite sturdy, her lower torso is made of a weaker but more malleable material.

Personality

Although she may appear intimidating, Aural is friendly and theatric, and she cowers at the thought of physical confrontations. Despite this, she has a history of being a bit of a troublemaker. She's very relaxed when around people she knows, but tends to be boisterous around strangers. Because the shape of her eyes can change on a whim, she often exaggerates her expressions on her visor, especially when interacting with people she doesn't know well.
