Background

Vasis Dynix, nicknamed "Fortress" for his incredible prowess as a bodyguard, is an elite soldier who worked closely with the Dynix family before Queen Vraxi was even in power. He specialized in unrest control and royal defence, protecting Zetomerxy's rulers from outside forces that were unhappy with how the Dynix lineage forced themselves into a position of power in Zetomerxy. Vraxi found him to be an invaluable asset due to his combat skill and military experience, and he was appointed king alongside Vraxi and Daxtra. Now, he serves as Vraxi's bodyguard and commands Zetomerxy's military, even going so far as to personally train the queen's attendants in combat.

Prior to becoming part of the Dynix family, his name was Vasis Rakvor.

Appearance & traits

Fortress has a pale carapace, sturdy build, and straight, shoulder-length white hair. When on duty, he wears a full-body suit of white and gold power armour, giving him extraordinary strength, dexterity, speed, and grappling abilities. His armour serves as a ruxvy and also has the ability to bend light around it, effectively camouflaging him in thin air. He has a preference for long range needle-projectile weaponry, and usually carries an accelerated needle rifle with him when armoured.

When unarmoured, he wears plain dark clothes, or he simply wears a black undersuit. He also wears a black choker as his ruxvy, and always wears several blue necklaces made of genofexian chitin. Whether these are a memento of lost friends or eliminated targets is unknown.

Personality

During important missions, training exercises, or high-stress situations, Fortress is gruff, aggressive, and commanding, believing in "tough love" for subordinates. However, in other settings, Fortress is very quiet and reserved, but makes a conscious effort to be friendly with his family. He will try to avoid detection in public in an effort to separate his identity as Vraxi's bodyguard and his position as king, although the reason why is not entirely clear.
